Ryan Double (Steve Carrell) is happy with his life and his girlfriend Lisa (Alicia Silverstone). Happy, that is, until he meets Sly Mick (Bob Hoskins) who gives him a deranged ultimatum - he will kill Lisa unless Ryan can double her weight.
